McTavish Fireball SLX

The Fireball has been the most popular McTavish design for over a decade. It has been under constant development by the McTavish team, and they've refined the board to create the new 'Fireball Evolution'.
The Fireball Evolution is a great upgrade on the current design

- New features include:
* Deeper nose concave for more lift and longer noserides.
* More pronounced nose bevels for better stability whilst walking, and to avoid catching the rail on re-entries.
* Deeper tail concaves and a slight spiral vee to liven up the tail more.
* More nose and tail lift - to make the board looser off the tail, and more responsive as it surfs 'shorter'.
* New Fireball Evolution decals and fresh artwork. The Fireball Evolution is the world's best all-rounder, and is loved by surfers everywhere. It's made a splash as far away as Ireland and the UK, New Zealand, France, Italy, Spain and the USA. Big waves, small waves, beach breaks and point breaks - performance is guaranteed in all conditions.

SLX is an all new construction that brings together the best elements of EPS and Epoxy, like reduced weight and added strength, without the common side-effects of excessive stiffness, or lack of feel. The result of the unique construction process gives a very light-weight board, that retains an excellent flex pattern, as well as adding a little extra buoyancy. Performance on these boards is very dynamic, as they are fast and responsive, communicating with the rider at a higher level. SLX technology is a step towards the future of high-performance surfboard construction.
