Greg Webber describes the 2008 shortboard model: ""The short board has medium rocker for a balance between drive and maneuverability, and a deep double concave for a balance between bite and forgiveness. After 20 years of designing surfboards for professional surfers, I have refined the high performance short board to have as much speed and response as the best can handle, while adding a degree of forgiveness which is as necessary for the best as it is for the thousands of competent surfers out there. The two concaves create the turbo like speed increase, with the vee acting like a silky smooth gear box, interlinking turns without conscious thought.""
