Der R2 Yulex Chest Zip Neoprenanzug von Patagonia ist 3.5/3mm dick und entspricht je nach Vergleichsmodell einem sehr warmen 3/2 oder sogar einem durchschnittlich warmen 4/3 Wetsuit. Er eignet sich für somit hervorragend für die Frühlings- und Herbstsaison in Europa bzw. für kälteempfindliche Surferinnen auch als Sommeranzug.

Der Chest Zip Verschluss ist zwar etwas komplizierter An- und Auszuziehen als die Back Zip Variante, dafür dringt aber weniger Wasser ein und der Wetsuit hält dadurch länger warm.

Warmes Innenfutter und komplett überklebte Nähte sind selbstverständlich beim R3 ebenso verarbeitet wie das patentierte Yulex Material, das auf nachwachsenden Rohstoffen basiert ist und an Stelle herkömmlichen Neoprens verwendet wird. Alle Nähte sind von einer Fair Trade zertifierten Manufaktur verarbeitet worden.

A high-performance, neoprene-free wetsuit, the R2® Yulex® Chest Zip Full Suit is made of 85% Yulex natural rubber/15% synthetic rubber by polymer content; the natural rubber is derived from sources that are Forest Stewardship Council® certified by the Rainforest Alliance. Suggested water temperatures: 55°–60° F/13°–16° C. Fair Trade Certified™ sewn.

100% external seam sealing; all seams are triple-glued and internally taped
Supratex kneepads and ankle cuffs for maximum durability and anatomic fit
