Die FCS II Connect Neo Glass Eco Fin in dusky blue ist eine schlichte Allround Finne mit einer mittelbreiten Base und schmalem Tip, was sie vor allem für 1+2 Fin Set ups mit Side Bytes interessant macht. Diese Finne ist für Surfen übers Tail und das Verbinden von Turns konzipiert und funktioniert am besten, wenn das Board von Rail zu Rail in Bewegung bleibt.
Achtung: Unserer Meinung nach funktioniert die Connect Finne am besten in der steiferen PG Bauweise!

Neo Glass Eco (NG Eco) - Füllt die Lücke zwischen der günstigen, aber sehr weichen Glass Flex (GF) und der steiferen, aber doch recht teuren Performance Core (PC) Bauweise. Neo Glass Eco Finnen bestehen zu 50% aus Fiberglasfasern für die Steifigkeit, die anderen 50% sind Bio-Resin. Die Konstruktion besticht vor allem durch das sehr gute Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und ist unsere Empfehlung für alle Surfer:innen, die ein solides, nicht allzu teures Finnenset suchen. Für fortgeschrittene oder schwerere Wellenreiter:innen lohnt sich das Upgrade auf die PC Bauweise von FCS.

Das FCS II Finnensystem kommt ohne Schrauben und Werkzeuge aus. Nach der erfolgreichen Einführung dieses Systems im Shortboard Bereich wurde das Prinzip nun auch auf Longboards mit US-Boxen übertragen.Die Finne wird dabei wie gewohnt an einem Ende durch Einführen in den Schacht fixiert. Am anderen Ende der Fin Base sitzt nun statt Plättchen und Schraube ein gefedertes Scharnier, das sich durch Druck von oben in die US Box einrasten lässt. Dieses Prinzip funktioniert mit herkömmlichen US-Boxen, sodass FCS II Longboard Finnen für alle Boards mit US Box kompatibel sind.

Neo Glass Eco - At FCS, we’ve made it our mission to minimise our footprint by designing high quality products that use low impact, sustainable materials. Constructed with 50% glass and bio-resin, the Neo Glass Eco Blend range has a low impact construction with high impact performance that’s recommended for lighter more agile surfers. The new range also sees reduced use of fossil fuels and a smaller carbon footprint than traditional materials.
Very affordable yet considered a premium construction due to its high fiberglass content and active flex pattern, these fins will accommodate a wide range of surfers and surfing conditions.
Our Eco Resin is created by Arkema, a founding member of Pragati, the sustainable castor initiative. Pragati trains farmers to build capacity, improve yields, and reduce environmental impacts, thus helping them to cultivate castor beans effectively and ecologically. The initiative also provides educational materials to improve the skills and knowledge of the local farmers, to improve their income, and to ensure better health and living conditions.
